Men's Sled Hockey - Team U.S.A.

Here is our TOP perFORMer of March 2022

Dominance reigns supreme for the U.S. Men’s Sled Hockey Team as the final buzzer sounds in the opening game of the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China. Winning their 4th consecutive Paralympic gold medal, Team U.S.A. proves that they’ve shaken off their loss in the 2017 World Championship final (4-1) by beating rival Canada (5-0) once more in the gold medal matchup.

The offense was led by 24-year-old Declan Farmer and 23-year-old Brody Roybal with 2 goals apiece. Roybal notes “We are family through and through… we did it for each other, and it’s just amazing.”

Captain Josh Pauls chipped in with the other goal. Pauls, a New Jersey native and 1 of 15 amputees on the roster, spoke about the extraordinary dedication within the group and mentioned that this team was a more tight-knit group than any others.

U.S. Army veteran and goaltender Jen Lee highlights the Team U.S.A. run by starting in place of the retired great goaltender Steve Cash. Lee did not allow a single goal in the entire tournament and made 16 saves to rout Canada.

A great coaching staff, impeccable goalkeeping, offensive precision, and a competitive drive to win has propelled the United States Men’s Sled Hockey Team to its 5th overall gold medal. Top Form Psychology acknowledges this amazing feat and congratulates Team U.S.A. in their ascendance as a TOP perFORMer.
