Angel Reese's performance in the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship was truly remarkable. The 6'3" forward from Baltimore, Maryland, led the LSU Tigers to their first-ever national title with a double-double against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the championship game. 

Reese finished the game with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also contributed 3 steals, 5 assists, and 1 block in the game. Reese's performance in the championship game capped off an outstanding tournament run, where she averaged 21.3 points and 15.2 rebounds per game.

Angel Reese has been a standout player for Louisiana State University basketball, not only for her skills on the court but also for her authenticity, confidence, and sportsmanship. She has shown that being true to oneself is key to success, even in the face of animosity in sports.
